Vintage Stoneware Acanthus Leaf Footwarmer Doorstop

An authentic vintage stoneware acanthus leaf footwarmer / hot water bottle, with a glazed finish, which nowadays would make for a great looking doorstop.

It features a raised acanthus leaf design around the top and a black ceramic screw fitting cap and a flat base.

The bottom of the footwarmer is stamped “LOVATTS LANGLEY WARE ENGLAND”, who were based near Nottingham and established in 1865.

Circa 1930, this piece is in very good condition for its age and use, with no cracks or chips.
