R.P.M or Revolutions Per Minute is a measure of the frequency of rotation, specifically the number of rotations around a fixed axis in one minute.This vintage R.P.M. alternator was originally used as a measure of rotational speed.

The alternator is marked from 0 to 600 and the dial bears “R.P.M.” and the manufacturers name: Hardings (Leeds) Ltd.

This is an authentic piece and bear marks consistent with its age and use.

Collect different sizes and finishes of pressure gauges and mount them on a wall in a bathroom, or office to create a visual impact. Five or seven work best!
