Vintage Glass Pickling Jar

This vintage glass pickling jar from Hungary, was once used to preserve seasonal fruits and vegetables, so they could be enjoyed year round.

Hand blown by local craftsmen, some are embossed with numbers on the base.

This is an ideal vessel for large bunches of flowers, or stems of foliage.

It could also be used as a terrarium or even as a pillar candle holder.

We have a selection of jars available, varying slightly in size and colour, as shown in the image.

Note: each vintage glass pickling jar is unique and bears its own characterful markings, so no two pieces look the same.
