Vintage Large Wooden Storage Chest

This characterful vintage large wooden storage chest was bought from a German dealer, but we are unable to locate the name Krummau being in Germany.

The chest is made of pine and has been painted grey. The chest bears the stencil written words: “Theresia Berger, Krummau, Flossberg93”

The lid hinges open, making it ideal for the storage of papers and magazines in a living room, where it could double up as a coffee table, or in a bedroom to store clothes, shoes or accessories or for kids toys.

It has  a metal clasp for closing and two metal handles on the side, so the piece can be easily moved.

This is an authentic vintage chest and bears signs of use, consistent with its age and use.
