Vintage Church Pew

Circa 1930, this characterful, four seater, vintage church pew was originally in a church in the Lake District, but for many years has been neglected in a barn in Sussex.

Solid and sturdy, it is made of pine, with a high panelled back, solid seat, rounded ends and a shelf along the back of the pew, originally to hold hymn books.

We have given the pew some TLC, with a good wax and it has come up a treat, though there are marks consistent with its age and use.

This is a great looking piece of seating around a kitchen or dining table, or in a cafe or restaurant, or in a hallway or waiting room.

There is a second pew available at a slightly shorter length of 148 cms, which is exactly the same style.
