Vintage Stacking Chairs
These characterful vintage stacking chairs were originally made by a company called New Equipment Ltd, most likely in the 1950’s. They have a colourful light green steel tubular frame and striking mahogany veneered plywood seats and backs.
These authentic chairs were hugely popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s, not only in schools, but in hospitals, community centres and church halls, as they took up much less space when stacked.
These vintage stacking chairs are ideal for the home, a cafe or restaurant, or office, wanting a vintage look.
Sold as a set of four, these vintage stacking chairs are in good condition, though do have noticeable surface marks and age-related wear consistent with their age and use, which adds to their character.
Each chair has black rubber feet to protect floor surfaces.
