This vintage wooden fruit drying rack was sourced from France and was originally used to dry plums in an area called Lot et Garonne in the south-west.
Made of poplar, this piece would have been hand-crafted, most likely in the 1940’s-1950’s.
This could now be used simply as a decorative piece of geometric wall art, or an interesting piece in the garden, resting against a wall for plants to climb around, or even as a Christmas tree, with lights entwined.
This is an authentic vintage piece and bears marks consistent with its age and use.
Note: there are two pieces available.
