Vintage Wooden Bagatelle Game Board

Vintage Wooden Bagatelle Game Board

This characterful, vintage wooden bagatelle game board, is also known as “Hit-a-Pin” , which originated in Victorian times. This piece was most likely made in the 1950’s, when these sorts of games were hugely popular in pubs, up and down the country.

It features the original instructions on the back, stating it was supplied by C.E. Hill & Sons, Brighton and cost 21/- shillings, which is equivalent to £1.05 in todays money!

This could make an interesting piece of wall art, especially if combined with other vintage bagatelle boards, as we saw in a cafe recently.

This is an authentic vintage piece, so shows age-related wear, consistent with its use and no longer has the original wooden cue or balls.
