Vintage Chrome Fire Extinguisher

This vintage chrome fire extinguisher was made by The Pyrene Company Limited, who were established in London in 1914 and who became one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fire fighting equipment. The company existed until 1971, when it became Chubb Fire Security Ltd.

The operating instructions are engraved into the front panel and it comes with a metal holding case which can be screwed to a wall.

This extinguisher operates by pulling out the hand pump, though it is now for decorative purposes only and would look great next to a fireplace or log burner.

Our vintage chrome fire extinguisher is a genuine piece and bears marks, consistent with its age and use.
