Large Vintage Stoneware Flagon

This large sized decorative vintage stoneware flagon states “This jar is the property of  E. Spooner & Sons, Landore, Swansea”, who were mineral water manufacturers in the early 1900’s.

The flagon is stamped “1933”, so is not far off being a genuine antique piece.

These stoneware pieces look best when grouped together in different sizes and shapes and bearing different graphics. Three or five pieces work best!

Ideal in a kitchen, or as a prop in a pub, cafe or restaurant, looking for an authentic rustic look.

This is an old piece and is in very good condition, but does bear marks consistent with its age and use.
