Vintage Testing Gauge

This vintage testing gauge would have originally been used in a laboratory, to measure the force of tons on 150 square inches area.

The dial features the words Trade Mark Testing Gauge and the manufacturers name, A. Macklow-Smith Ltd. London who are still in business today, renowned for their precise temperature controlled instruments. It is in a metal case with a plastic face, which has a crack.

This is an authentic vintage testing gauge and bears marks consistent with its age and use.

Collect different sizes and finishes of pressure gauges and mount them on a wall in a bathroom, or office to create a visual impact. Five or seven work best!
