This dark oak Mid Century wooden ice bucket, features a distinctive octagonal design and comes with a porcelain liner, to hold ice and a silverplate handle and lid.
The front bears a silverplate cartouche bearing the following words: S.V.C.C. BATTING PRIZE A.V.IVES 1950, so clearly this was a prize for the best cricket batter that year!
This ice bucket is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips or cracks to the porcelain liner.
